Explicit Instruction: Share definition and alternate definitions for streak after students complete personal definitions > Movie Clip
Modeled Instruction: Lab Intro
Guided Practice: Review, illustrate questions 1 & 2 from yesterday
Independent Practice: Students complete questions started yesterday: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 & 9 pg. 114 in complete sentences (include the question in the answer)
Formative Assessment (How we will know we learned it?): Questions collected and graded > Lab results
Relevance/Closure (How will we use it?): Resources, stewardship, chem prep
Materials/Resources: modified frayer, framing routine, textbooks, pencil and paper, lab kit, hand outs
